Intensive EMDR Therapy: Focused and Efficient

Intensive EMDR Sessions

Intensive EMDR sessions are designed to provide more intensive treatment than is available in the traditional weekly therapy model.

Intensive EMDR sessions are 60, 90, or 120 minutes long. These longer sessions provide an opportunity to make faster progress through EMDR targets and are very useful during the active processing phases of EMDR. Using longer sessions can be more efficient and lead to more rapid resolution of symptoms than one 45 minute therapy session per week. If it is clinically appropriate and will help you meet your therapy goals I might suggest we schedule Intensive EMDR Sessions.

EMDR Intensive Session Fees

Please remember that the total cost of therapy is not the same as the cost per therapy session. The total cost of therapy is the cost of all sessions until the desired changes and healing are completed. Although my session by session rate may seem high, the total cost of therapy may be lower than with a less expert therapist.

With 25 years of clinical experience, I bring a depth of judgment, pacing, and clinical discernment that is essential for effective EMDR Therapy. EMDR is most powerful when it is applied thoughtfully and tailored to the individual rather than delivered as a one-size-fits-all protocol. Experience matters, not only in achieving results, but in doing so safely, efficiently, and without unnecessary distress.

My approach emphasizes:

This level of expertise allows therapy to progress with depth and efficiency, rather than trial-and-error.
